GCTV Events: Silver Spruce Montessori School visits GCTV, March 10th, 2010

On March 10th, 2010, students from the Silver Spruce Montessori School in Grafton visited the GCTV Studio to learn more about how TV is made. The children were given a tour of the facility and a hands on demo of the studio cameras and control room. Here are some pictures from their visit.

The class asked questions as former Grafton Public Access Coordinator Danielle DeLucia began to explain what happens on the Chroma Key set.

 

The tour continued to the Master Control section of the Control room, as students and teachers alike learned about how the GCTV Access signals are broadcast.

 

Here, the students watch a part of a new episode of a GCTV Series on one of the 3 editing stations.

 

Then it was their turn to make TV- here some students learned how to use the studio cameras.
